Prishtinë, 16 October 2014 -On 15.10.2014, at about 09:00, Directorate of Investigation of Trafficking with Narcotics, respectively the unit in the North Mitrovica, based on the information provided in the operational ways, conducted a police operation in the village Dren, municipality of Zubin Potok, where two suspects have been arrested under the grounded suspicion to have committed the criminal offence, ‘illegal purchase, possession, delivery and selling narcotics and psychotropic substances” and 10 kg narcotics suspected to be marihuana have been seized. The arrested persons are:• G. J. Born on 1974 m/sh/k• A. Z. Born on 1978 m/sh/kPolice officers examined the scene and collected evidences, where after measuring the amount of narcotics, the total weight resulted to be 10 kg and 309 gr. As a continuity of the police operation with the authorisation of the competent judge, a raid has been conducted in the houses of the suspects, where 59 cartridges of the calibre 7,62×39 have been found. All police actions regarding this case have been conducted under the authorisation of the respective prosecution and the suspects have been imposed the detention measure of 48 hours, for further proceedings.
