Directorate of Investigation of Organized Crime, after several months’ investigations, regarding the illegal activity of an organized group who in cooperation forged official documents (extracts), today on 20.2.2014 in the region of Prishtina conducted a police operation, coded ‘’EXTRACT’’ in three various locations, in which case three persons were arrested under the suspition to have committed the criminal actions ‘abuse of official duty’ and ‘document forgery’. The arrested persons are:1. T. V. born on 1967 m/k/sh2. B. S. born on 1949 m/k/sh3. S. K. born on 1946 m/k/shDuring this operation besides the Kosovo Police there participated also the Inspectorate of the Civil Registration Agency – MIA and as material evidences the following documents have been seized: • A birth extract (blank)• Four birth extracts (forged)• Two death certificates (suspicious-forged)• Two martial certificates (forged)• A birth certificate (forged)• A certificate of local region (blank, stamped and signed)• Dozens of other documents suspected to have been forged• In the registrar office there has been seized a computer which is taken for examination. Based on the police investigations it is suspected that the already suspected person by police T.V. owner of a company, used to do judicial works, provided with clients to illegally get forged documents. The suspect B. S. (former officer in Municipality of Prishtina up to the date 17.2.2014 retired) using official position offered documents according to the request of the suspect T. V. The suspect S. K. (former officer of the registrar office in Municipality of Prishtina up to 2011, now retired) using his influence at his former position, continuously for the suspect T. V. provided blank extracts and other blank documents signed and stamped. All police activities regarding this case have been committed with the authorization of the respective prosecutor.
