Prishtinë, 8 January 2015
Kosovo Police, respectively units of police station “Qendra” in Prishtina, on 6.1.2015 at about 22:10, in a check point in the “Xhorxh Bush” street, have stopped a vehicle Opel Corsa type, with local plates. After controlling the suspect inside the vehicle were found a suspicious amount of narcotics.
The suspect with initials B. E. born in 1984, with residence in Prishtina was arrested and sent to the police station, where then was interviewed by the anti-drug unit, respectively officers of the Directorate for Investigation of Trafficking with Narcotics (DITN)As material evidence in the vehicle were found and seized:
• 345 grams of narcotics suspected to be marijuana
• 0.6 gram of narcotics suspected to be cocaine
• 550 euro cash money.
DITN Unit in cooperation with the officers of police station ‘Qendra’ in Prishtina, have proceed with the further investigation procedures. The prosecutor in duty and pre-trial judge were also notified about this case and a control was made in the apartment of the suspect (B. E)
During the control in the suspect’s apartment there were found:
• one (1) automatic weapon of scorpion type• Seventeen (17) cartridges of 7.65 mm caliber.• three bags of marijuana type weighing 40 grams
By the order of the competent prosecutor, the suspect was detained for 48 hours.
