-Today, on 16 March 2016, the General Director of Kosovo Police, Mr. Shpend Maxhuni with the senior staff of KP, hosted in a meeting the President of the Republic of Kosovo Mrs. Atifete Jahjaga.Mr. Shpend Maxhuni initially thanked the President Mrs. Jahjaga for visiting KP, and at the same time, informed her about developments, activities and implementation of strategic objectives of Kosovo Police, in the continuous increase of the KP performance and professionalism. Among others, the KP Director Mr. Maxhuni expressed his gratitude to the President, Mrs. Jahjaga for the continuous cooperation and support given to Kosovo Police, presenting the KP as a credible institution, in the country and abroad.
While the President of the Republic of Kosovo Mrs. Atifete Jahjaga stated that Kosovo Police enjoys a high reputation, as one of most trusted institutions in the country and this has been achieved thanks to the hard work and commitment of all KP employees. Among others, the President Mrs. Jahjaga said that the police staff must be proud to serve such a credible and trusted institution and for serving the people, while by caring about safety of the country, security of citizens, keeping public peace and order, prevention of crime and combating terrorism, you will achieve to maintain Kosovo as a safe and quiet country.During the meeting held in the environments of the General Directorate of Kosovo Police, Mr. Maxhuni and Mrs. Jahjaga pledged to have a mutual inter-institutional cooperation.
