Directorate for investigation of economic crimes and corruption, unit in Prizren, supported by relevant police units, in 12.9.2014 in the Prizren region, have conducted a police operation coded the“Dollar”, where they have arrested four suspects with the ground suspicion that three of them have committed criminal offence “Falsification of money” and one for “Illegal possession of weapons”.
The arrested persons are:
1. B. K born in 1981 m/sh/a
2. S. T born in 1978 m/sh/a
3. Sh. M born in 1991 m/sh/a
4. A. K born in 1975 m/sh/a

The police operation had began after an investigative work and some information that were provided by the police investigators in operational route that some suspects are trying to put some falsified money Prizren market (american dollars).
In coordination and authorization of the respective prosecutor and based in the order of the basic Court in Prizren, the operation is conducted in secret technical measures of investigation and observation, where the suspects were arrested in action by exchanging the money (american dollars in euro). Based on preliminary police investigations, the suspects had agreed to exchange 9000 $ (nine thousand american dollars) in 2700 € (two thousand and seven hundred euro). Regarding this case there were seized the money and vehicle of the suspects, as well as various documents relating with the criminal offence.
As continuation of this police operation, four locations of the suspects were raided and in one location in the Suhareka municipality were found and seized as material evidences, two hunting rifles, one revolver, one magazine with twenty (20) bullets of the hunting rifle 12 mm caliber, and some items suspected to be stolen as electronic tools, etc. Regarding these items, there was arrested the fourth suspect A.K. for the criminal offence “illegal possession of weapons” and the items found in that location are suspected to have been stolen, the investigators of the police station in Suhareka are investigating this case.
All police actions regarding this case are being conducted in consultation with the competent prosecutor and against the suspects was imposed the detention measure of 48 hours, to proceed with other investigation proceedings.
