Prishtinë, 20 November 2014 Today, on 20.11.2014, at about 06:00, in Prishtina, Kosovo Police respectively patrolling units of the ‘North’ police station of the Prishtina region, have stopped two vehicles, on which there were nine (9) persons.During the identification and control, it was suspected that this case has to deal with the illegal actions of smuggling with humans, where the victims of this case are a family of six members from the Ferizaj region. During the preliminary investigations regarding this case, it is suspected that the six member family including three children and one other person, was suspected that they were pretending to go to the European Union countries through Serbia. The suspect with initials T.K male, Albanian / Kosovar, is suspected that for each of the smuggled victims for material benefits had asked money in amount of 3600 (three thousand and six hundred) euro. By the decision of the competent prosecutor, the suspect was taken to the custody with the grounded suspicion to have committed the criminal offence ‘smuggling with migrants’.
