The Directorate for Investigation of Economic Crimes and Corruption, unit in Prizren, today on (24.9.2014) at about 13:30 has arrested a suspect on the grounded suspicion to having committed the offence ‘misuse of official position or authority’.
The arrested person is:
• H. H. born in 1971, officer in the Rahovec Municipal Assembly.
Based on the preliminary investigations, it is suspected that the suspect already arrested by the Police had misused his official position, since the officer in question had lived in two apartments where the electricity of these two apartments was paid by the Rahovec Municipality budget. The two meters were registered in the name of the officer in question and the payment of meter registration was made by the budget of Rahovec Municipality, in an amount of 2.126.59€ (two thousand, one hundred and fifty nine euro).
All the police actions regarding this case were conducted under the authorization of the respective prosecutor and with the decision of the prosecutor, the suspect was taken to custody for 48 hours.
