Prishtinë, 4 March 2014 -From setting the date for the football match Kosovë-Haiti, Kosovo Police through its units had been part of the organization along with other respective institutions of this important football match for Kosovo and especially for the sport of Kosovo.The police operational plan had been drafted on time and so far all preparations have been made in order to provide security for all citizens during this sport activity and keeping public peace and order in general. In order to secure all this activity, the police officers were appointed in concrete duty in all entrances of the city of Mitrovica and they will direct the movements of citizens and road traffic to the stadium “Adem Jashari’ in Mitrovica, in order to avoid traffic jams and when necessary to re-direct the traffic. Knowing the importance of this sport match tomorrow on 5.3.2014 a considerable number of citizens is expected to come to Mitrovica in order to watch this sport match, so Kosovo Police calls all citizens especially those who live in the neighborhood near the stadium to avoid unnecessary movements with vehicles in the streets to the stadium in order to manage the general security and the flow of traffic.
