Prishtinë 13 June 2014-Kosovo Police lead by the Kosovo Special Prosecution and in cooperation with the Albanian Police and Serious Crimes Prosecution of the Republic of Albania, based on the information provided by the operative-investigative routes, have conducted an operation against an organized group of trafficking with narcotics.In the course of joint investigations there were exchanged information and organized meetings between the Special Prosecution and DITN officers (Kosovo Police) in order to harmonize the actions in terrain, and immediately were set the direct contact between the Kosovo and Albania investigators.Within the investigations there were made the requests for secret investigation measures and respective orders were received by the pre-trial judge which has been implemented in the investigation function. The operation has continued in coordination between the Special Prosecution and investigators of Kosovo Police and with the Prosecution and Albanian investigators. As a result of investigations, on 12.06.2014 about 07:00 in the border point (Kosovo-Albania) in Vermica, police of Albanian state (at the part of Albanian Republic) had stopped a suspected person who was transporting seven (7) kg of narcotics from Albania suspected to be cocaine. As a part of this operation, Kosovo Police investigators have responded and raided a house in the Peja region. During the raid of this house there was found an improvised location as a lab on which were found equipment that serves for weighting, mixing and packaging of the narcotics. : As material evidences in this location the following were found and seized: 18 kg and 235 g. narcotics of cocaine type• 5 kg. e 955 precursors• 8 liters hydrochloric acid • 246 liters acetone • 7 liters hydro-kiselina• Lab equipment: (mixer, strainer, troughs, ventilators, lamps, gloves, scale etc.)• 2 vehicles • 1 scorpion • 1 revolver with gas• 1 air rifle• 2 magazines with 18 bullets 7.65mm• 1200 euro• 7040 Albanian lekë (currency) • 65 CHF• Mobile phones and other evidencesAs suspect for criminal offences of the organized crime and trafficking with narcotics there were arrested;1. V. T born in 1964 f/a with American citizenship 2. V. B born in 1972 m/a kosovar 3. V. B born in 1981 m/a /kosovar As a part of this operation there was conducted another raid in Ferizaj where one suspect person was arrested with initials A.Z born in 1981 m/a/k, who is suspected to be part of this criminal group. Within this operation, also in Albania, as a result of this joint investigation and exchange of information two persons have been arrested and the following have been confiscated:• 207 kg. e 360 gr. cannabis sativa• 22 kg. e 323 gr. heroine• 2.8 gr. cocaine • 22 cans of 25 liters with acetone • 6 fire weapons • 929 bullets • 143 000 euro • 3 vehicles • 25 cell phones And other evidences relevant to the case.
