Prishtinë, 28 January 2014Today on 28 January 2014, in the facilities of the General Directorate of Kosovo Polices, the General Director of Kosovo Police Mr. Shpend Maxhuni, hosted in an official meeting a delegation from USA, respectively from the state IOWA, composed of Mr. Ross Loder and Lieutenant-Colonel Todd Aarhus from the Department of Public Safety of the state IOWA.The purpose of the delegation visit and realization of this meeting is as a result of the mutual cooperation between Kosovo Police and the Department of Public Safety of the state IOWA.During this meeting the General Director of KP notified the delegation about the security situation in the country, police structure, achievements, and especially for developments and commitments for further professionally advancement of KP.Mr. Maxhuni also informed them about the challenges, continues works and commitments of Kosovo Police, in the function of increasing the level of security in the country. During this meeting it was discussed and agreed to immediately begin with the concrete cooperation, support and exchange of the expertise in various fields of professional advancing and law enforcement.On the other hand, representatives from the Department of Public Safety of the state IOWA, expressed their admiration for Kosovo Police and its leadership for the work and commitments in the function of law enforcement, adding that they will further support Kosovo Police in various forms of law enforcement.
