Kosovo Police, on 7
April 2016, have arrested two suspects, who are believed to having committed
the criminal offence of “fuel smuggling’. The arrest of these suspects was made
after the signals and pictures captured by the security cameras, where the
suspects were observed making illegal movements in the Vitomirica area.

In this case, Kosovo Police after controlling the
truck that was driven by the suspects, in the trailer of the truck has found an
amount of fuel oil, over 20.000 liters. Inside the truck trailer was built a
modified tank for illegal transportation of fuel.

The
arrested suspects in this case are:

• N. R.               born
  in            1986                           m/k/Serbian
  
• M. T.               born
  in 1995                           m/k/Serbian
  

The
suspects did not possess the respective documentation, therefore it is alleged
that the fuel amount was smuggled from Serbia, which was destined to Kosovo.

By the order the competent prosecutor, the suspects
were taken to retention, while the truck with the fuel amount was brought in
the police station and then will be transferred in the terminal of Kosovo
Customs, while the completed case will be submitted to the Regional Investigation
Unit for further proceeding.
