On March 31, 2023 after the midnight, in the north of the Country has been reported that unknown persons have burnt three vehicles of the owners of Serbian nationality, where one of them has been parked in the street “Kral Milutin” in Zveçan, the other in the street “Ivo Lola Ribar” – North Mitrovica and the third in the street “Vlade Çetkoviq” in North Mitrovica.

After the case of two vehicles burnt on 30.03.2023 in the north, on the midnight of 31.03.2023 three other vehicles which belonged to victims of Serbian nationality and which were registered into the plates of the Republic of Kosovo (RKS were burnt.

As in the first case, after receiving the information for the second case, the police units immediately responded the scene, engaging the competent police units including forensics, which have undertaken all the necessary investigative actions.

The competent Prosecutor has been informed about the case and according to his instructions, there has been initiated the case of “arson” for further investigation procedures.

Kosovo Police will continue its engagement in investigating and solving such cases as well as in providing safety to all the citizens regardless.
