Three suspects arrested under grounded suspicion of ‘aggravated theft’, ‘robbery’

Prishtinë, 20 October 2016 

The Directorate for Investigation of the Organized Crime, after several-month investigations regarding the criminal activity of a group, which continuously was dealing with ‘robbery’,’ theft’ and ’aggravated theft’, today on 20.10.2016 in the Prishtina region (into six locations) has undertaken the operation coded “Q7” where three suspects are arrested, while two other are in escape, as well as their houses and additional objects were controlled.

The suspects in cooperation have committed the abovementioned offences with the aim to benefit materially (these persons have managed to enter in various houses with force, stealing valuable belongings and vehicle key where together with the stolen belongings have left the crime scene). This illegal activity of the suspects has damaged the budget of certain families and so far the Investigation Unit has managed to identify 9 stolen and abandoned vehicles by this criminal group which then were returned to the legal owners.

This operation is a continuation of the operation undertaken on 22.07.2016 where three (3) persons of this criminal group were caught in flagrante.

 

The arrested suspects are:

RR. A.     born in 1989 m/a/k

L. A.   born in 1992 m/a/k

Sh. N.     born in 1990 m/a/k

During this operation as material evidences are seized:

10.000,00 (ten thousand euro)

One vehicle golf 5

gold, jewelleries, unconfirmed amount

15 cartridges cal.7.62 TT

2 cartridges of hunting rifle,

equipment for cleaning weapons

masks, gloves, screw drivers, pliers for cutting metals,

one radio link

one cap with inscription Police

Binoculars and other important items for criminal procedure.

The suspects were taken to police custody for further judicial procedures.
