Prishtinë, 8 December 2016 –Police Units of Prishtina region, within the intensification of measures for guaranteeing order and public safety and fighting individuals and criminal groups, have organized their tasks with a special focus solving the criminal offences, identification and arrest of suspects involved in criminal offences.

The latest operation was conducted by the police units of Obiliq, where three suspects were arrested in flagrancy, with grounded suspicion to having been involved in a case of ‘aggravated theft’ which occurred last night at about 20:00 o’clock, in the village Mirash – Obiliq. 

The case occurred in the KEK area, exactly on the transportation lane, where three suspects have loaded a van with coal and while attempting to leave the scene are arrested by the Police. Police have seized the van (Ford Transit with local plates) which was loaded with coal. 

 The arrested persons are:

• B. G., male, 37 years old, citizen of the Republic of Kosovo, 

• B. M., male, 22 years old, citizen of the Republic of Kosovo and

• A. M., male, 19 years old, citizen of the Republic of Kosovo. 

After imposing the detention measure of 48 hours, by the recommendation of the State Prosecutor, they were taken to the detention centre. It is worth mentioning that the suspects have been arrested by the police several times before, for about 40 cases of the same nature (thefts, aggravated thefts, robberies, etc).
