In order to fight against all the negative phenomena, Kosovo Police, in this case the Directorate of Investigation of Organized Crime, conducted a police operation named “URA”, which resulted in the arrest of three suspected persons.

Suspects arrested in this case are suspected of having committed the offenses of ‘import, export, supply, transportation, production, exchange, mediation or unauthorized sale of weapons or explosive materials’ sanctioned by Article 372 of the CRPD.

The suspects already arrested in this case are:

M. S. born on 1972 m/a/k

J. G. born on 1982 m/a/k

Sh. K. born on 1974 m/a/k

Regarding the case, with the order of the competent court, 3 (three) house-locations with various additional facilities were searched in Skenderaj, where they were seized:

6 guns (1 AK 47, 3 long, 2 shooters),

271 ammunition of various cal.

7 magazines.

The three persons suspected of committing criminal offenses were interviewed, and by decision of the competent prosecutor they were taken to custody.

This police operation was supported by special operating units, (K 9) units and units of the Mitrovica region.
