Mitrovica North, 21st of November 2024

On 21.11.2024, after receiving an information on suspicions for weapons and ammunition, police units responded immediately and conducted a search on Kralj Petri Street in Mitrovica North. During the search, weapons, ammunition and various equipment were found within the roof of a building.

The evidence found and confiscated is:

1. One AK-47

2. Five AK 47 ammunition magazines

3. 136 AK-47 cartridges

4. One Backpack

5. Two hand-held radios

6. One car radio

7. Two radio chargers

8. One additional AK-47 barrel

Until this stage of the investigation, several interviews of persons in this building have been conducted, where all further actions will be undertaken in cooperation and coordination with the justice authorities.
