Prishtina, 13th of February 2019

The Directorate of Investigation of Economic Crimes and Corruption (DHKEK), Unit in Prishtina, after receiving an information that a suspect through his business, was putting in to circulation coins suspected to be counterfeit, initiated and conducted investigations for several weeks against one suspect.

Today, on 13.02.2019, police investigators together with the inspectors from Ministry of Trade and Industry, inspected a trade activity for the suspect in Prishtina. The Police found at the suspect coins and seized them.

In the possession of the suspect were found:

• 172 pieces X 2 = 344.00 euro and

• 236 pieces X 1 = 236.00 euro.

In total there are 580 euros of coins were confiscated.

The suspect H. B. born on 1968, m/a/k was arrested and based on the decision of the prosecutor is taken to 48 h police detention.
