The German police, in this case officers from the Regional Crime Police in Berlin, addressed special thanks to the Kosovo Police regarding the confiscation of the stolen BMW 320 vehicle on 05.0.2023 in Mitrovica North, which was in search by the German authorities.

Through the professional cooperation with the Directorate for International Cooperation in the Field of Law Enforcement (ILECU), as well as the extraordinary commitment and quick and professional action of the police officers from RPD Mitrovica North, it was achieved to find and confiscate the BMW vehicle (approx. value €65,0000) stolen in Berlin.

The German side quoted “This excellent success in a difficult environment was made possible by the mature action of the colleagues of the Kosovo Police”.

Also, the Montenegrin Police thanked the Kosovo Police on the occasion of the successful cooperation in the arrest of the suspect J.S., wanted by Montenegro with an international arrest warrant due to the suspicion of having committed serious criminal offenses as a member of a criminal organization. The wanted person was located and arrested by the Kosovo Police on May 24, 2023.

The Kosovo Police within the Directorate for International Cooperation in the Field of Law Enforcement (ILECU), as well as all its departments, have excellent cooperation with law enforcement institutions, and this cooperation will continue in the spirit of trust and cooperation in the future.
