Today, on 29.06.2023, the general director of the Kosovo Police, Mr. Gazmend Hoxha, together with the director of the Border Department Mr. Ragip Bunjaku, visited the three KP police officers, who were kidnapped by the Serbian armed forces on June 14.

Director Hoxha expressed that he feels happy that the three police officers of the KP Border Police, who were kidnapped by Serbian forces in the territory of the Republic of Kosovo, have already been released. They are fine and returned to their family, colleagues and institutions of the Republic of Kosovo.

He expressed his gratitude and encouraged them for the resistance and faith shown, as well as thanked them for their work and commitments in conducting police duties with special emphasis on the fight against smuggling and cross-border crimes. He congratulated the families of the already released police officers kidnapped on June 14, for they celebrated the Sacrifice Feast (Kurban Bayram) together with their loved ones.

The general director together with the management of the KP who visited the police officers, among other things, offered them support and moral care and expect them to return to police work and commitments for the benefit of the country and citizens without distinction.
