On August 1, 2023, the General Director of Kosovo Police, Colonel Gazmend HOXHA, with his associates, hosted in a meeting the KFOR Commander, Major General Angelo Michele RISTUCCIA, the head of EULEX in Kosovo, Mr. Giovanni Pietro Barbano and the representatives of the EU Office in Kosovo, regarding the assessment of the security situation in the Republic of Kosovo, including the assessment of the situation in the north of the country.

This meeting was held in the framework of the ongoing cooperation of Kosovo Police with KFOR and EULEX.

The issues that were discussed are mainly of the security situation in the entire territory of the Republic of Kosovo, including the recent developments in the north of the country. In the meeting as a common goal was assessed the cooperation and coordination within the framework of the relevant tasks and responsibilities, with the aim of providing security and maintaining public order and peace.
