The General Director of Kosovo Police Mr. Shpend Maxhuni held an official meeting with the staf of the Investigation Department of KP

          Today within the agenda of the general director of KP Mr. Shpend Maxhuni, there was held an internal meeting with the officers of the investigation department and regional units of investigation of trafficking with narcotics.

During the meeting, by the director Maxhuni there was stated his request for maximal commitment in combating trafficking with narcotics, as well as information have been given on planning, commitment and activities required in completion of strategic objectives of Kosovo Police, deriving from the strategic development plan. 

The director Maxhuni required from the police officers to have a maximum commitment and responsibility in the field of prevention and operational planning, using all professional, technical and staffing capacities in combating organized crime and especially trafficking in narcotics as a phenomenon with high risk for citizens of the country.

There was confirmed the need of cooperation with all relevant institutions with the aim to take responsibilities and necessary measures for combating this phenomenon. 

Also there has been required that the plan “stop drugs in schools” to continue to be implemented and updated strictly, in order to prevent all possible illegal activities, in the environment around schools and in the territory of the country.

          Management of Kosovo Police has been committed in completing duties and legal obligations for the good of the security and order in the Republic of Kosovo, therefore Mr. Maxhuni required by everyone to have a greater commitment in combating all criminal activities. 

Kosovo Police remains committed in implementation of duties and legal responsibilities, including its professional commitments with the aim of providing security and preventing all criminal cases, as well as right information of public.
