            Today
in the border crossing point in Vërmicë, the two general directors of the
Kosovo Police Mr. Shpend Maxhuni and Albanian Police Mr. Haki Çako, are signed
the common procedures of border control, in BCP Vërmicë-Morinë, in the
respective territories.

            These procedures are made to
simplify and speed up the border crossing, by implementing fully the border
control entrance-exit from each party, establishing common cabins at the exit
for Kosovar party in BCP Morinë and for the Albanian party in Vërmicë.

            When crossing the border points, the
principle of border controls will be implemented in respective areas. This
procedure not only simplifies and speeds up the border crossing, but also
guarantees security of border controlling and implements the border crossing
standards.
