On September 16, 2022, the Acting General Director of the Kosovo Police and the senior command staff hosted a meeting with Mrs. Tamra Greig, the Director of the Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL), accompanied by DOJ-ICITAP attache Ms. Kimberly Riffe from the US Embassy.

Apart from the fact that the meeting with the new Director of INL was informative, on the other hand, it was a farewell meeting with the former Director of INL, Mr. Shawn Waddoups. During the meeting, essential topics of interest in the security field were discussed, including support with advanced training and various projects, such as the pilot project of the body-worn cameras system, where police officers are expected to be equipped in the future with these cameras.

The Kosovo Police will continue to strengthen the already good cooperation and relations with international partners, especially with INL and ICITAP, to whom the Police is grateful for their unstinting support.

The meeting resulted in a pledge to continue cooperation and strong partnership between Kosovo and the USA law enforcement communities.
