In order to increase public safety and prevent incidents of various natures, Kosovo Police has increased security measures throughout the country, including the north of the country where several serious criminal attacks/incidents have occurred in recent days.

As planned, there will be an increase in police activities to provide more security throughout the country, for all citizens without distinction.

Police operational plans will focus on increasing police presence in the field, by carrying out more patrols in more critical areas, more checkpoints and increasing cooperation with citizens.

The police, through operational and intelligent actions, will aim to maintain public order and peace, prevent criminal acts and investigate and bring to justice all those who dare to attack security, law and constitutional order.

The purpose of police operations will be provision of safety to citizens, the safety of their property and public and institutional property.

Considering that the cooperation with citizens is a great support in achieving police objectives for greater security in the country, the police, uses the opportunity to thank citizens for the cooperation shown so far and invites citizens to continue to share with us all the information leading in increase of security for every person without distinction.
