Kosovo Police, respectively the units from the Directorate for the Investigation of Trafficking in Narcotics in Prizren, while performing police duties and powers, as a result of engagements in the identification and arrest of persons involved in narcotics crimes, identified and arrested a person suspected of committing two criminal offenses.
On 03.11.2022 at around 18:00 DITN-Prizren, after intensive investigations and operational work in the field, in the village of Grejkoc – Suharekë, police officials identified a suspected car with local license plates, driven by the suspect male Kosovar with the initials L. R., i who, despite the resistance shown against the police officers, was arrested, and there were found a quantity of narcotics suspected to be cocaine-type and a pistol magazine.
Regarding the case, the state prosecutor was consulted, and a verbal order was received from the pre-trial judge to raid the house and additional facilities belonging to the aforementioned suspect.
During the raid carried out, including the control carried out at the scene, the following evidence was found and seized:
• three (3) cartridges of unknown caliber;
• two (2) digital scales;
• one (1) plastic bucket with substance suspected to be heroin narcotics, weight 1403.96 grams;
• two (2) vacuuming devices;
• one (1) nylon roll for wrapping narcotic substances;
• four (4) doses of suspected cocaine-type narcotic substance weighing 2.076 grams;
• one (1) magazine with three cartridges of unknown caliber;
• cash worth five hundred (500) euros;
• a car with local license plates;
• two (2) mobile phones;
• one (1) black handgun without a magazine.
In relation to the case, the suspect was interviewed in the presence of the defense lawyer and after his interview, by order of the prosecutor, he was detained for 48 hours.
