Kosovo Police, as a law-enforcement institution conducts its duties and responsibilities with full responsibility in the function of guaranteeing the law-enforcement.

Preventing and combating the negative phenomenon in the society, including illegal activities related to the criminal offences are also the priority of Kosovo Police.

The unauthorized purchase, possession, delivery of narcotics, psychotropic and analog substances is a criminal offence sanctioned by law, so Kosovo Police in continuity conducted police operations, where a considerable amount of narcotics has been seized, arresting a large number of persons suspected to be involved in those illegal activities with negative consequences for the whole society.

Kosovo Police received relevant information that such illegal activities regarding narcotics are supposed to be committed also in our country, where it has been noticed through the social media that today in the afternoon, in the park “Gërmia”, such a meeting will be held.

Considering it as illegal, harmful and with long term consequences for our society, we undertook all the necessary operational police actions that all individuals or groups involved in such activities, or those who possess, transport or use such substances will be faced with consequences determined by the laws into force.

Simultaneously, we warn and appeal to all citizens, individuals or groups that may have sufficient knowledge regarding this issue, to avoid such illegal activities or organizations, otherwise Kosovo Police with its relevant units will arrest the persons who are suspected to be part of those groups or contribute to such activities which conflict to the laws into force.
