Kosovo Police (KP), in order to correctly inform the public and citizens, is responding to several articles published mainly in Serbian media, which refer to a statement from the Serbian Ministry of Defense, that allegedly according to them a group of heavily armed members of the Kosovo Police have crossed the border line with Serbia in the north of the country in an unauthorized manner.

Such articles referred to in the statement by the Serbian Ministry of Defense are untrue and unfounded.

Therefore, these articles and the statement published as such, are disinformation that aims to create uncertainty among the citizens of that area and tarnish the work of the Kosovo Police.

The Kosovo Police, as a reliable and transparent institution, will continuously take care to provide official information to the media and the public, whenever they are requested and necessary for the media and the public.
