Kosovo Police (KP), in order to correctly inform the public, through this official information reacts to the circulation and distribution of a forged document through various e-mails with various information, which allegedly belong to Kosovo Police and allegedly issued by the general director of Kosovo Police and at the same time clarifies that;

The distribution of these e-mails, allegedly as official e-mails issued on behalf of KP, containing KP logos, government logos, various stamps and an inscription of EUROPOL, were allegedly issued with the purpose of notification of the designated party for legal actions, it is neither an official document of the Kosovo Police, nor issued by the director of the KP, these are e-mails with a forged document for use with certain purposes.

In the forged e-mail and document, different information and logos were used, but we re-emphasize that it is not an official document nor does it contain official information, it is not the official format and writing of the KP, and it was not issued by the official addresses of the Kosovo Police.

Kosovo Police as a law enforcement institution, in cooperation and coordination with the justice bodies, after providing information about the circulation of such e-mails/documents, begun intensive investigations by engaging competent police units, with the aim of investigation, verification and detection the perpetrators of this criminal offense.

Kosovo Police announces and at the same time invites citizens not to fall prey to such disinformation/fraud, and anyone who may receive such e-mails/documents, address it to the KP official address [email protected] for further proceeding.
