The security situation in the north of the country today has been fragile but mostly calm, except the municipality of Leposavic, the situation there has been tense from time to time, as protesters/criminal groups have obstructed and attacked journalists from various media with hard objects and other things. Also, some media cars parked in different locations, were attacked and damaged by hard tools thrown inside and outside the cars.

Obstructing journalists in performing their duties, violating free expression, obstructing the presentation of the real situation, as well as damaging vehicles are criminal actions, which will be investigated by the Kosovo Police.

In the afternoon, the protests at the buildings of the three municipalities in the north of the country, Leposaviq, Zubin Potok and Zveçan, have ended, except for a small number of protesters who continue to remain near the municipality of Leposaviq. The monitoring of the situation and police engagements coordinated with other relevant security institutions have been going on in all locations.
