Kosovo Police, on 16.06.2022 in the morning hours by the personnel of several schools has been informed about threats with explosive (bombs) in several school facilities, mainly in the areas inhabited with Serbian population.

Based on to date information, those threats have been done in various regions in several school facilities (so far in about 30 locations), which threats have been received through electronic means and telephone lines.

Referring to the information received, Kosovo Police immediately undertook all police measures and actions necessary with the aim of handling and investigating those cases, engaging relevant police units, including those for handling explosives as well as the K-9 unit.

Kosovo Police, has also taken concrete action evacuating persons within the security perimeters, while it will continue its commitment to maintaining the constitutional order, guaranteeing security at the national level as well as providing security to all citizens without distinction.

Up to this stage, the Kosovo Police has managed to treat and verify some of the school facilities, which have turned out to be false threats, so we invite citizens not to create any panic, as the Kosovo Police is present and engaged in handling, investigating and providing security at all locations nationwide.
