As a memory
and honor relating the fifth anniversary of falling on the duty of the police
officer hero, Enver ZYMERI, there were conducted several activities and visits
to the monument of the hero, village cemetery and his family.

The
commemorative ceremony started on 10:00 o’clock, where as a sign of honour, the
minister of Internal Affairs Mr. Skender Hyseni and Deputy General Director Mr.
Shpend Maxhuni, accompanied by the senior KP management laid wreaths to the
monument of the hero in the complex of the General Directorate of Police in
Prishtina but also to the grave of the hero in Dubovc village – Vushtrri.

The delegation led by Minister
Hyseni, General Director Maxhuni and police staff, after the tributes made to
the village cemetery, visited even the family of hero Zymeri.

“During the visit to the family,
minister Hyseni said “It is a moment of sorrow but at the same time is a solemn
moment of the sacrifice and commitment memory that have demonstrated with their
lives, in order to enforce the law and order. No doubt that Enver Zymeri is a
personification of hero, human, police officer, father, son, who has not spared
anything to demonstrate strongly the commitment for order and law, for his
country, the structure, in this case for Kosovo Police, and after five years of
his falling we remember him with a great admiration. Being committed that at
the same time we as Institutions and Government of the Republic of Kosovo to do
everything possible within our possibilities and potential that our country
has, that Kosovo Police and order bodies to provide space, opportunity and
necessary conditions for the work.”

While, director Maxhuni stressed that Kosovo Police feels proud with
the hero Zymeri, who with its work and contribution by not sparing his life has
contributed that Kosovo Police since that time to serve and extent full
sovereignty throughout the territory of the country.

Thanks to the commitment and sacrifice of our colleague, your family
member Enver Zymeri remains an example for law enforcement and order, where now
Kosovo Police feels more responsible and willingly for work and now for this we
enjoy reliability from our citizens as the most credible Institution in the
country.

Kosovo
police will continue to always support your family and always be ready for
maintaining public order and security throughout the territory of Kosovo, as it
was the hero of Kosovo Enver Zymeri.
