Prishtinë,

Kosovo Police based on its powers and statutory duties, taking into account
the importance of creating a safe and secure environment for all citizens,
especially in the realization of festive activities in the honor of the 28^th
of November, undertook its legal and professional actions in order that all
citizens feel safe and free to realize these fundamental rights.

The purpose of police commitments and planning has been the fulfillment
and realization of the set objectives such as:

* General Safety in the
Republic of Kosovo, keeping order and security, public safety and the law
enforcement.

* Our citizens have the
opportunity to celebrate calmly and safely every festive event.

*Undertaking Legal Measures against possible illegal actions and fight
against all negative phenomena and criminal acts that can cause instability, which
in any extend would jeopardize public order or violate the right of citizens to
freely celebrate etc.

Kosovo Police as an institution of law enforcement has taken all actions
conform the Kosovo Constitution, laws and plans designed to ensure public peace
and order, for the progress of festive activities and allowing the free
movement of all citizens.

Law enforcement, providing public peace and order,
freedom of movement and the calm progress of this festive day has been a
priority of the KP, including the security against natural persons, legal
persons and prevention of social and private property damage.

Kosovo Police possessed information regarding the
participation of the wanted person with the arrest warrant issued by the Basic Court
in Pristina in the event, but based on assessments of the situation, and in
order to not contribute to the escalation of the situation in the event, did
not take actions to stop him, but these actions will be undertaken by the
police as required by the Arrest Warrant.

Kosovo Police based on its plans, engaged enough
police officers to maintain order and public safety, for the quiet progress of
the event which started at about 14:00, and thanks to the maturity and high
culture of citizens, the event ended around 14:50 peacefully without incidents.
