Kosovo Police, respectively Road Traffic Division drafted the operational
plan “vehicles with no customs clearance”. The Plan started to be implemented
on 21st of May 2017 from the Road Traffic Regional Unit in
Prishtina, in cooperation with Kosovo customs and is still being implemented.
The plan’s aim is to
identify, prevent and remove the vehicles with no customs clearance from the
traffic. The vehicles in question will not be subject of technical and
procedural rules since they are uninsured and avoid all the foreseen legal
fees. These vehicles are often participants in road traffic accidents by which
the safety of participants in traffic is jeopardized.
On 21.05.2017 in the Prishtina region, are
identified and seized in total 21 vehicles with no customs clearance which
were encountered circulating in road traffic.
Kosovo
Police requires by the drivers of such vehicles to not drive the vehicles in
traffic, since such vehicles will be stopped and seized.
