In the Border Crossing Point Merdar (exit), on 11.02.2017, at 13:20 a vehicle with Slovenian plates has been stopped, property of a Slovenian company, driven (with the authorization) by a citizen of Kosovo.

During the detailed control in the second line of control, where ideal equipment have been used, in the rear protecting mask there has been notice something suspicious. Also there has been noticed that inside the seats there were suspected bags with narcotics. The suspicion is increased during the K9 control. 

The Directorate of Investigation of Trafficking with Narcotics (DHTN) has been notified, which takes the vehicle to Prishtina in order to conduct the control in a proper environment. 

With the order of the prosecutor and the Pre-trial Judge the control of the vehicle has been conducted. In different parts of it, there have been found 93 packages hidden with various forms and sizes with the general weight of: 12kg and 634g narcotics suspected to be marihuana.

With the decision of the prosecutor, the suspect D.M born on 1988, male, Albanian, citizen of Kosovo is taken to the Detention Center. Also there are seized narcotics, the vehicle used in the case, a mobile phone as well as 350 euro.
