Police patrols of the Border Police, on 27.07.2021 at about 23:00 o’clock, during a patrol between the border of the Republic of Kosovo and Republic of Serbia near the village Herticë has stopped a vehicle with local plates which was driven by a suspect, male, Kosovar F.H (1991).

During the control of vehicle, it was noticed that there were fifty-three (53) pairs of new shoes of different types for which the suspect did not have documents on the origin.

The case was reported to the State Prosecutor, and by his order the Police has initiated a case against the suspect on suspicion of involvement in the criminal offense ‘Smuggling of goods’, while the goods were seized and handed over to Kosovo Customs.

The suspect after the interview and with the order of the Prosecutor, was released in regular procedure.
