On 02.04.2023 at about 02:20 o’clock in the morning, in the street “Ivo Llola Ribar” at the Centre for the technical control of vehicles, unknown individuals have attacked the police officers while on the duty (in static point) with an explosive device.

Based on the initial information, it is suspected that the explosive thrown towards the police officers is a shock bomb.

The competent police units and forensics responded the scene and carried out the necessary procedures.

The State Prosecutor has also been informed about the case who ordered the initiation of the case as “attack against the officials” and intensive investigations for solving this case are in process.

Kosovo Police despite such acts by individuals or certain criminal groups is dedicated on performing tasks and legal authorizations in maintaining order and security of citizens regardless, as well as arresting and brining the suspects involved in such cases to the justice bodies.
