Prishtina 2th of April 2023

On 02.04.2023 at about 02:20 at night, in the street “Ivo Lola Ribar” at the vehicle Technical control center, in the direction of officers in the official duty (static point unit), from unknown persons device suspected to be explosive was thrown.

Based o the initial information it is suspected that the explosive device thrown in the direction of police officers is a Shock – Bomb.

Competent police units and forensics came at the scene and completed their procedures of scene examination.

Related to this case the state Prosecutor was informed and has initiated the case of
“Attacking official person” and intensive investigation for this case are in the process.

Kosovo Police despite such acts from certain criminal individuals or groups remains committed in conducting their legal duties and authorizations in the function of maintaining order, guaranteeing peace for citizens regardless, as well as the arrest and bringing in front of the justice the suspects involved in such cases.
