Kosovo Police (KP), through the Directorate of Investigation of Trafficking in Narcotics, relevant units in Ferizaj and with the assistance of fast reaction units, after several months’ investigation, conducted a successful police operation which resulted in the arrest of six (6) suspects.

This police operation has been conducted with the order and with close cooperation of the Basic Court in Ferizaj, Department of Serious Crimes, as it is a continuity of investigations related to a police operation realized in October 2018.

As a result of the continuance of intensive investigations on 09.02.2019, in two locations in Ferizaj there was conducted a police search, which resulted in the arrest of suspects, under the grounded suspicion to have acted in a criminal group involved in the criminal offence “Unauthorized possession, delivery, sell of narcotics, psychotropic substance and analogue”.

During this police operation there has been seized a considerable amount of narcotics of the type marihuana covered in 193 packages, which when measured resulted to be 209.202 kg.

During this police operation there were arrested six suspects:

•    XH.S.   born on 1990, male, Kosovar, Albanian;
•    B.S.      born on  1978, male, Kosovar, Albanian;
•    G.K.     born on  1991, male, Kosovar, Albanian;
•    F.B.      born on 1992, male, Albanian of Macedonia
•    J.B.       born on 1997, male, Albanian of Macedonia
•    F.B.       born on 1994, male, Albanian of Macedonia

In those locations, besides the seizure of narcotics, as material evidences there have been found and seized:

•    Four vehicles (Passat, Venta, Golf IV and Sharan)
•    Cash 839 euro and 95 cent
•    Cash 520 Macedonian dinars,
•    Cash 3 American dollars and
•    Six mobile telephones

Referring to the first police operation conducted in October 2018, where seized 108 kg and 13.3 gr suspected narcotics of the type marihuana, and the last night’s case where seized 193 packages, in the amount of 209.202 kg. the total results to be about 317 kg. 

          With the order of the State Prosecutor, the suspects have been given the detention measure of 48 hours, while the investigation regarding the case is going on.
