Police activities in traffic during March 2018 and drafting/delivering of the leaflet “Move on safety in traffic”

Prishtinë, 13 April 2018

Kosovo Police with its units, with the aim to increase the level of road safety and decrease of accidents, continuously conducts additional activities in implementing laws in the field of road traffic, respectively implementation of authorization and given competencies.

Within those powers and competencies during the time period 01.03.2018 to 31.03.2018 there were identified a considerable number of minor offences, against whom there were taken all actions deriving from the applicable laws.

Drafting and delivery of the leaflet “Move on safely in traffic”


      Road Traffic Division for the purpose of providing road traffic safety, increasing attention for an increased care for all traffic participants, as well as based on the Statement signed by the Minister of Internal Affairs and the General Director of Kosovo Police that the 2018 be a year of safety and of standards in the road traffic, drafted the leaflet “Move on safely in traffic”. 


In particular, this leaflet was dedicated to preschool and primary school children where through this brochure they will receive basic knowledge of safe movement in traffic.


Number of leaflets printed is 50000 pcs in Albanian, Serbian and English.


Call: 


Kosovo Police continuous to call all road traffic participants, to respect legal provisions, to increase vigilance, to increase care in respecting rules deriving from the laws on traffic, to guarantee a grater safety for all participants in traffic, with the aim of avoiding road accidents in general especially those with fatal consequences.
