Kosovo Police, based on its vision and mission continues its full commitment, in fulfilling and meeting the strategic objectives foreseen according to the development plan at the level of the country, a commitment which is also being reflected in the Regional Directorate of Mitrovica North.

The implementation of the strategic development plan, foresees the increase of efficiency in provision of public safety, the prevention, investigation and detection of crime, border control, which directly affects the safety of citizens, regardless, as well as the general safety of the country.

The Regional Directorate Mitrovica North, despite the faced challenges and difficulties, has achieved positive results in the management of the security situation as well as in the management of (109) reported cases for the period of time (01 January 2023 to 15 March 2023), where 91 of them were criminal offenses and (18) were incidents of different natures.

It is worth emphasizing that even during this week, in the police stations of Mitrovica North, various police tasks and activities were carried out. These tasks including the implemention of respective plans in the field of traffic, the implementation the orders from judicial institutions, the increase of police presence in the community as well as the increase of police patrols which have resulted positively in overall security and crime prevention.

Kosovo Police, Regional Directorate Mitrovica North thanks all citizens and at the same time continues to encourage them, all communities without distinction, for further increase of cooperation and reporting of cases for a safer and peaceful environment for all citizens.
