Kosovo Police, respectively the Directorate for Investigation of Trafficking with Narcotics, on 28 October 2016 after several-month investigations has conducted a police operation, which has resulted on arresting of three suspects for the criminal offence ‘unauthorized purchase, possession, sale or distribution of narcotics, psychotropic and analogue substances’

The police operation was conducted in the Deçan municipality, where after the control by the relevant police units was found a considerable amount of marijuana narcotics. 

The persons arrested in this case are:

• U. K.   born on 1971   M/A/K

• E. K.   born on 1997   M/A/K

• E. A.   born on 1997   M/A/K

During the control conducted in the abovementioned location in a field area, as well as on the vehicle of one of the suspects, the police officers have found and seized an amount of 83 kg and 550 gr. of marijuana type.

As material evidences were also seized:

• Three vehicles of different brands (one with Albanian plates and two with RKS plates), as well as 

• Five mobile phones.

            It is worth mentioning that this police operation was supported even by other relevant police units of fast reaction units, patrolling units and Forensics of the Peja region.

By the decision of the competent prosecutor, for the suspects was imposed the detention measure of 48 hours.
