Prishtinë, 5 October 2015

Kosovo Police, respectively the Directorate for Investigation of
Trafficking with narcotics, after receiving relevant information by the police
resources in the field, yesterday on 4 October 2015 at about 23:25 have
conducted a police operation anti-drug at the exit of the highway “Ibrahim
Rugova” in the village Mazgit.

During the realization of the police operation, there was stopped a truck
and during the control in the trailer which was loaded with sand, there was
found an amount of packaged narcotics.

The
arrested suspect is:

  F.                born in 1989                m/k/a

The suspect, driver of the truck had hidden the
amount of narcotics under the sand, and it is suspected to have committed the
criminal offence of “purchasing, possession, selling or distribution of
unauthorized narcotics, psychotropic or analogue substances’.

The amount of the seized narcotics after its
measuring has resulted to be:

• 39.778 KG  (39
  kilograms and 778 grams)

The
investigations regarding the destination and origin of the alleged substance
are in progress.

Regarding
the case was notified the prosecutor of serious crimes and by its decision, the
suspect was sent to the detention center.
