Kosovo Police, respectively the Units for Investigation of Trafficking with Narcotics in Prishtina and Mitrovica, on 10 November 2016, at about 20:00, during the operational work in terrain, have received information for a vehicle suspected to transport narcotics. 

Police Units have stopped the Range Rover vehicle and during the control have encountered an amount of narcotics and in this case the suspect was arrested for committing the criminal offence of “unauthorized purchase, possession, distribution and sale of narcotics, psychotropic and analogue substances’ from article 273.

The suspect arrested in this case is:

• O. N. born on 1990 m/a/Albania

During controlling the vehicle, in the rear part of it was found a bag filled with 20 packages, suspected as narcotics of marijuana type.

After weighing by the Forensics, the narcotics resulted to be:

• 10 kilograms and 766 grams

Regarding the case, by the order of the prosecutor of Basic Prosecution in Prishtina, to the suspect was imposed the detention measure of 48 hours.
