Mitrovicë, 24 October 2016

On 24th of October 2016, at about 04:14 am, Police in Mitrovicë had noticed that in the street “Mbretëresha Teutë’’ two traffic signs were damaged and after examining the scene, Police have raised suspicions that signs could have been hit by any vehicle in moving. 

After several investigations of circumstances on the scene, Police have managed to identify the vehicle and driver, who is already arrested by the Police. 

From the investigations so far, it is known that the suspect (driver of the vehicle) at the time of incident and hitting the traffic signs, was under the alcohol influence that has resulted on 1.53 promiles. 

Against the suspect was initiated the procedure of ‘endangering public traffic’.

After procedures and by the decision of the case prosecutor, to the suspects was imposed the police custody.
