Kosovo Police for the religious orthodox manifestation of Vidovdan which is celebrated on 28th of June, through the drafting of an operational planning, has undertaken all the necessary measures for keeping the order and public safety, enforceability of the law in the country as well as increasing the security measures to guarantee order, peace and public safety, before, during and after the manifestation.

In order to guarantee free movement for all the citizens, in the locations where it is expected to have restrictions, full or partial blockages of certain segments of the streets, in the areas where various manifestations will take place, such as in: Prishtina, Graçanica, Gazimestan etc., there will be engaged sufficient police officers to manage the traffic and to provide conditions for normal circulation for all the road traffic users.

In this regard, since the beginning until the end of the ceremony, in specified time intervals, depending on the situation, in order to avoid traffic jams, Police will manage the traffic.

Depending on the circumstances that will occur as a result of the number of vehicles and participants, Police has undertaken all the necessary additional actions to guarantee order, peace and public safety, including traffic or other restrictions on the streets, to create optimal conditions for a normal course of manifestation.

Therefore, in order to overcome such circumstances as easily as possible, especially in the road traffic, we require the assistance, trust and understanding of all citizens, at the same time we ask all the citizens to not fall prey of any possible provocation during the manifestation.
