Kosovo Police, in security aspect, assess that the situation is calm and stable while referring to the elections in Serbia and organizing of citizens to travel towards Serbia in various methods to vote, at some border crossing points connecting the Republic of Kosovo with Serbia long waiting lines have been created.

The waitings have been caused at the exit from Kosovo towards Serbia, at border points Jarinje and Bernjak as a result of increased traffic of the vehicles in these two border points, as a result of the slowed work by the Serbian authorities by applying the entrance only in one lane as well as the applying of the procedure of stickers.

Kosovo Police in this regard foresaw Police measures and actions in the function of protection of constitutional order of the Republic of Kosovo, guaranteeing general security in order to enable free movement and border traffic.

Kosovo Police is committed in performing its duties and powers conform legal and constitutional authorizations as well as guaranteeing overall security in the country.
