Kosovo Police, in the occasion of the International Earth Day planed several police activities in celebrating symbolically this day, which is evaluated as very important for the Earth and for mankind.

Those activities have been implemented in several police regions, where besides the senior management of KP with the head the General Director Mr. Rashit Qalaj, have been engaged also officers of various profiles, including border units with boats, who participated in providing their contribution to the lake of Badovc.

Kosovo Police besides those police activities has been engaged in providing police assistance in the safety field, to all institutions, agencies and various organizations which conducted activities in celebration of this day.

Considering it as a very important day which serves to give the alarm about the damages that the humans may cause to forests, rivers, earth and other natural property, Kosovo Police being a ‘friend of the earth’ shall continue to contribute in raising awareness and prevention and reducing high air, water and earth pollution in our country.

The aim of this date is to reflect in fundamental protection of the Earth and all its resources from its pollution and degradation, where an important role plays Kosovo Police who shall continue to undertake police activities towards prevention and cooperation with all relevant institutions of this nature.

The International Earth Day to serve us all in protecting the Earth, therefore Kosovo Police remains committed for protection of earth and its resources cooperating closely with all competent institutions and citizens, who are at the same time invited for a greater cooperation in this field.
