In the ongoing efforts of the Kosovo Police to prevent and combat negative phenomena, in particular the fight against narcotics trafficking, KP units, namely the Directorate of Investigation of Narcotics Trafficking, on 28 of June 2018, managed to arrest one suspected person of committing the criminal act ‘Unauthorized possession of dangerous narcotics and psychotropic substances’, Article 275, 281.

The arrested person in this case is:

S. G. Born on 1976 m/a/k

The police operation was conducted in the Gjilan / Gnjilane region, whereby, in consultation with the prosecutor, police units searched several locations where, during the search, the suspect was found to have narcotics placed in two bags.

The Forensics Unit seized the quantity of narcotics, where after testing it resulted to be marijuana. The total value of marijuana is 32,500 gr or (32,5 kg).

While in consultation with the chief state prosecutor in Ferizaj, the suspect was arrested and taken to custody for 48 hours.
