            Kosovo Police on
12th of September 2016, during a police control in a vehicle has managed to
identify and seize a certain amount of the suspected narcotic substance and
have arrested a person, who is suspected for the criminal offence of
‘unauthorized purchase, possession, distribution and selling of psychotropic
and analogue narcotics’.

            The Police Station unit in Gjilan has stopped the
Mercedes vehicle with plates of the Republic of Serbia, where after doubts has
conducted a detailed control of vehicle and in cooperation with the Directorate
for Investigation of trafficking with Narcotics, in the rear part have found
and seized 16 packages of narcotics, suspected to be Marijuana.

  with narcotics, suspected to be Marijuana, about 16.615 kilograms

Regarding the
case was notified the State Prosecutor, and by his decision for the arrested
person was imposed the detention measure of 48 hours.
