As part of the international campaign “16 days of activism against gender-based violence”, Kosovo Police has engaged in a series of activities to raise the awareness and prevent domestic violence, violence against women and gender-based violence.

The motto for this year is “You are the force that breaks the silence!”, conveys the message of the importance of citizens’ cooperation with institutions in combating domestic violence, violence against women and gender-based violence, in the family, at work and within the community.

Kosovo Police, as a guardian of security and legal support for victims, has taken important steps to strengthen preventive measures and the professional treatment of cases of violence, by specializing special units, to provide protection and security for victims.

A call for action:

The Kosovo Police invites all citizens to report any form of violence without hesitation. Reports can be made:

• the digital application: report the Police,

• by visiting the nearest Police stations.
